TF DF A

TF DF A is an all-purpose defoamer. It is based on 2-Ethyl Hexanol and modified fatty acid derivatives. It is a water dispersible premium grade defoamer.

Typical Physical Properties

Application

TF DF A is used in any application where it is desirable to reduce the foaming tendencies of water base mud. It suppresses foam in all types of water-based mud including brines. It is compatible with all water base systems and restores pump pressure reduced by air or gas in the drilling mud.

Recommended Handling

All personnel handling this material must handle it as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Packaging and Storage

Packed in 55 USG Steel drum.

Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking.
